Congratulations to ablst nlki I! You won a copy of 7 Brides for 7 Texans! If you will email me at ericavetsch at gmail dot com and let me know if you want print or ebook, I will get your book to you ASAP!
Thank you to everyone who commented. We will be giving away a LOT more stuff here over the coming weeks, so be sure to come back!
I love the picture above. A field of bluebonnets. Did you know that bluebonnets feature in Lorna Seilstad's 7 Brides story Heart of Texas?
Who doesn't swoon over a handsome cowboy bringing a fistful of freshly-picked flowers to a pretty girl?
What's your favorite flower?

Any wildflower. Hothouse flower has to be moth orchid.
ReplyDeleteI had to look that one up. I didn't realize that's what those orchids were called. :) My MIL loved those orchids and had many!
ReplyDeleteI love sunflowers, but really any wildflowers.
ReplyDeleteAs a native Kansan, your answer made me smile. The Sunflower State! :)
DeleteI love sunflowers, but really any wildflowers.
ReplyDeleteMust admit roses are my favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteHard to go wrong with roses. The look beautiful and smell heavenly.
DeleteCongratulations to the winner!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite flower for looks is a carnation. My favorite flower for scent is a lilac.
My favorite is Lilly of the Valley. We picked them the day before our wedding and had them everywhere.
ReplyDeleteI lived in central Texas for 3 1/2 years. One thing I miss (besides the people) is bluebonnets. My favorite flower, though, are irises. There are so many different colors, scents, and sizes.
ReplyDeleteI love all flowers, which is good since I often do flowers for weddings. I have to admit, though, I like to work with some better than others. :)
